Independent Spirits Distillery is a family-owned and operated craft distillery set on ten acres of farmland in Woolwich Township, New Jersey. Every spirit we produce — from our botanical-infused Aquavit to our Whiskey — is distilled right here in our barn using locally sourced grains, fruits, and botanicals, along with water drawn from our own private well. Rooted in our Danish and Irish American heritage, we craft small-batch spirits that reflect the rich agricultural bounty of South Jersey. With more than a decade in the business, our aged spirits have spent years in the barrel, while favorites like our Espresso Liqueur and Limoncello continue to win new fans. Innovation remains at the heart of what we do, with new spirits and ready-to-drink cocktails always on the horizon.

Founder Kerry’s commitment to true craft distilling is shared by her sons, Mark and Erik, who now play key roles in the distillery’s daily operations and future growth. Our custom-built Mueller Still, made in Germany and assembled by family, is the heart of our operation and a symbol of our dedication to quality.
